Sick Sick Sick. 

It sucks sucks suck. 

It started with Anna, then me and now Beck. I'd rather be sick three times over than have my babies suffer. 

On the upside I now have time in the middle of the night to blog when I am wakened by a puker.

In my underpants at my moms...

Lately I have been showing up announced at my moms. Sometimes I bring vegetables or coffee. Sometimes I call and pretend that I am near by and have something for Kia. Sometimes I just knock impatiently at the door juggling one or four kids.

Always I need something. 

This struck me today and I happened to be in my underpants at my mom's house. She was sewing my shorts for me. And all the mending of my children's clothes that I don't know how to do. 

I used to wish like crazy that she would die too or instead of. I once even wondered if I dropped a lit match in the oil tank at our old house if it would blow up. I never had the heart to do it, thank goodness (lots of teenage angst).

I also realized how she is different. That used to embarrass me and now it just makes me smile. It's one of the ways she is just my mom. I asked her if she would come and have family pictures done with us and she said sure, it may be the last opportunity. That is an idea I no longer long for. It actually strikes fear in my heart. In the next breath she tells me she even has a new shirt to wear. Eight actually. Of the EXACT same shirt right down to the burnt orange color. 

They were on sale, naturally, for $2.50 and she thought how easy, buy 8, one for each day the week and extra just in case. Then she only has do laundry once a week and if she too busy, then no one know if shirt dirty. After all she alway wear same shirt no one wonder. It nice shirt. Have real button, nice color. I think to buy some for you too, but you too fat. No as fat from before, I proud of you but still too fat.

Then after an hour of announcing that I must leave I leave. I am no longer in my underpants, Beckett laughed and laughed as she played and I have three pairs of shorts that are freshly hemmed. My mom can do anything. I think my father died not because he was so great that he no longer had to live here, don't get me wrong he was TOTALLY awesome, but because I needed my mom more. 

I haven't know this for very long. But despite being called fat like 4 times today I am grateful and happy. 

I hope she comes to have her picture taken and odds are she'll have on an orange shirt.

I hated school. I was never the girl my girls are. I was in trouble. I was not well liked. If one could imagine I was bossy. I know I've changed alot. (bossy is like genetic, you don't get to chose who you are right?)I was mean mean mean. MEAN. I still have, love and nurture that mean streak as it can come in handy but I do think I have a much better control over it.  It was pretty ugly though. 

Anna was called a model student. A title I never wore. 

I'm glad they are different from me. 

I want their life to be easier than I made mine. 

That's it. 

Just easier.

I can Crawl! And if you will I would like to document a small victory. The naughty dog Olaf is DYING to eat Sofie the squeaky giraffe, but thanks to my awesomeness he has not won yet. I am watching you dog, one chomp and I'll turn you into cat treats.

So wow, back to school already and getting my ass kicked! It has so been a transition to the schedules. Poor Katie is wiped out by the end of the day, all of her good listening ears used up. Baby girl is falling asleep on the bus. Ha!  Anna seems to have fallen right back in but is starting to show signs of teenage angst and I am not so thrilled about that. 

I think someone should make a vaccine for that. Something, anything to get mom's through the teenage years. Besides alcohol, for me anyways. Kidding Beck's still nursing and with the two falls he's taken he doesn't have too many extra cells to lose. 

Sad to report that there is nothing too terribly funny happening in my life right now. Darren did mistake a photo of himself for a woman and that made me nearly pee myself but that has been about it. Oh and one of the crazies at work thinks were gonna learn a dance routine and flash mob...not going so well as I cannot dance. But we try and it is shocking. It will be shocking. The hardest part at this point is we're, i mean me, wiggling and shaking and them we move on to the next move and the parts that were wiggling still are and that just throws my rhythm off. To much jostling causes thing to well, smack together making things generally unpleasing, both to look at and feel. So we'll see how this all works out.

I wish every third photo turned out the way I see it, not blurry not lacking depth. I wish I remembered to take more pictures, even now I already know there is not enough. I wish I could remember all the cute and funny things they do and say. I wish time did not move so fast.
