The Marriot downtown has and irresistible deal. $45 bucks a night and it includes a full hot buffet breakfast that you can go down and get. Then you can fool your children into thinking that they are getting room service. Add to that the fact they have a pool and you have a smoken' deal and the recipe for a ridiculously fun time. Romsies and her girlies joined us on our adventure.
It took Lily all of 10 seconds to bust out with this smile...Good grief they are cute!
Haddie was not so crazy about the whole swimming in a pool idea at first. Naturally by the time she was giggling with delight the camera battery had died. So we are left with only the evidence of terror.
Three Peas in a Pod. The loved getting to ride the street car, which was fantastically convenient as it went right to the the Burrito place, the Cupcake place, Ice cream shop, the Convenience store(for cookies and chips) and back to the hotel. My husband did field about 10 phone calls to get us addresses, hours and stops for all of those places, but he does work at a help desk. We needed help. After stuffing the kids full of junk and quarts of sugar and swimming for hours we managed to get them all to sleep. It only lasted a brief while but it was sure sweet while it lasted!
What a cutie. There is something so fun about vegging out in a hotel, eating in bed and jumping on their furniture.

You really are a true friend to leave out the part where my funny girls started screaming in a manner that woke the entire hotel up at a super not so fun time in the morning! Even after the whole adventure we are desperate to do a day trip again! Get it? Day trip!!
